I love newsletters. I love newsletters so much that at one point I signed up for like seven of them and my inbox was so overwhelmed that I had like 50 unread emails. There are lots of newsletters out there, and most of them, I will admit, suck. (Ours of course does not suck and you should definitely sign up for it by entering your email into the convenient little box right over there ------>) But there are three newsletters that I have been subscribed to for quite some time now, and I will admit that reading them is almost always one of the highlights of my week.
I have no idea how I came across these 3 newsletters, all I know is that I am now presenting them to you so that you can sign up for them and have your week brightened.
Girls Night In
This newsletter comes out every Friday and has a different theme every week. They share articles and other things they find online that relate to the theme of that week's newsletter. What I like about this one is that every week somehow relates to relaxing, cultivating good mental health, reconnecting with yourself, and just in general taking a moment to chill. The articles are always interesting and filled with helpful tips and stories, and the writers of the newsletter are fun and witty. Definitely subscribe if you need to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the real world.
baalm is a skincare cooperative that I will not lie, kind of confuses me. You can sign up for a paid membership, but the newsletter is totally free and packed with skin care tips and tricks. They've gone through a lot of rebranding since they're a relatively new company, but their core mission has remained the same. They want to bring transparency to the skincare business and provide consumers with the knowledge to know what it is they're purchasing and how every product works. Their newsletters contain product recommendations as well as articles from around the web about the way to make the most of your skincare. If you're all about elaborate skincare routines, this newsletter is for you.
Positively Present is a website all about cultivating positive mental health through mindfulness and other positivity practices. The woman that runs it is authentic and kind and always has wise and wonderful words to say. Her newsletter used to come out weekly, but now is on a monthly basis (I think. I'm not absolutely sure but I don't get it as often as I used to). It includes her latest blog post, adorable graphic designs, and articles recommendations from around the web. The whole letter is themed on being happy and present, and its a wonderful random reminder to take a moment to be a happier, healthier you. This is a newsletter for everyone, because everyone can use a reminder to love themselves.
If you're a person that hates sifting through emails, I really recommend you sign up for these newsletters. They won't clutter up your inbox, but they are a welcome break from the typically mundane content usually found in email inboxes. Life's too short to be spent checking boring email, and while you're uplifting your inbox with all this positive content, don't forget our newsletter, which is a wonderful extension of our blog and includes updates on what we're loving and doing!
