About a week ago Keoki died.
She was almost twelve years old, which is exceptionally old for a bunny, and for about a week she had been unable to hop around and her condition was getting increasingly worse. She was however still eating and drinking, and was responsive to people when they came up to her. On her last day however, she stopped eating and drinking, and was no longer as receptive when you approached her. So she died peacefully on a towel and is buried in our backyard between two trees in the spot where the lilies grow every year.
Its been rough because for as long as I can remember Keoki has always been a part of our family. Loosing a pet is always hard, but loosing one that has been there for 11 years carries a different weight. But I'm trying not to be all doom and gloom about it, as you can see from the gif above. She's in a better place now, one where she can hopefully hop without falling over.
So as an ode to Keoki I am sharing all the rare and never before seen pictures of her that I can scrounge up and that will fit in this blog post. Enjoy!

The thing that keeps me up at night is Carrot's blog post of her bunny having a nice photoshoot outside. I've been wanting to do one of my own, so here it is: my Pig in a blanket.
I'm very proud of this pun, someone please appreciate it. Also, Pig looks very grumpy because I was refusing him his carrot until after he posed for the pictures.
All creatures great and small. Follow for pet tips and pictures, as well as some posts about people.
