Niall Horan's first solo album.
There are too many feelings to be felt.
I've been a Niall girl since the start and this album and Niall's solo career is so wild to watch and experience. There is also something so beautiful and surreal about this blog post. It's time to be apart of this journey together.
On the Loose is about the cool girl that everyone wants to be. She's magical but also trouble but also loyal to her man.
This Town makes me feel nostalgic for the place and girl that he sings about. The song is so innocent and sweet and I get butterflies when I hear it being played.
Seeing Blind sounds like a folk song, which I'm very supportive of, and is about how seeing that perfect person can make you blind.
Slow Hands is the best song of all time. That's all I want and have to say about it.
Too Much to Ask is an upbeat sad song. If you really listen to the lyrics it's so sad but the beat and the sound aren't very sad. It's a very complex song.
Paper Houses is about that relationship that was so fragile but also mystical. It grew and grew until one day it all just ends.
Since We're Alone is just about opening your heart to that person and just being safe telling that one person everything .
Flicker - the title song. It makes me feel everything at once and I just want to be held by Niall while he sings it to me.
Fire Away can set me on fire any day of the week and I'd be okay with it.
You and Me is about being the endgame, no matter what happens. Think soulmates but more magical because Niall Horan is singing it.
On My Own makes me want to be a single dude just hitting up the town at night and seeing a cute gal at the local pub but choosing the single life in the end.
Mirrors is a pretty song but when you truly listen to the lyrics it's sad as all heck. ((It also reminds me of when I was angsty sophomore/junior year, I would have loved it so much))
The Tide may push and pull but the relationship is still there after all the struggle.
It's now time to spend the rest of my life listening to this album until I die.
