Since being in college I've been exposed to a lot of new music. Since the town my college is in is pretty small and boring one of the things we do for fun is drive around, and these hour long escapades are always accompanied with music. It was on one of these nights that I heard a particular song that I had never heard before, and now it is all I can listen to. Every morning and every night I listen to it and every time I am in the car I request it. Every playlist that is made has it on it, and every time there is a moment of silence I start to sing it. Its Stay by Post Malone.
It's the most melancholy and beautiful song I've ever heard and it brings me such solace to listen to it but also makes me so sad. I just can't articulate the beauty of this song. Its such a nighttime song, and has those Adele vibes where its got you crying over a boy who broke your heart despite never even dating anyone.
There are a few songs that I will never get tired of listening to, and the only ones I can think of right now are Don't Take the Money by Bleachers and Tshirt Weather by Circa Waves, and of course, Stay by Post Malone. So far its been two weeks of near constant listening, and I'm still going strong. But be sure to give it a listen by moonlight, the atmosphere changes everything. Also being drunk helps the feels.
