Overall I'd say that 2016 was a pretty successful year. There were, of course, plenty of low points but at the same time there were plenty of high points. I set two resolutions for myself last year, to let life happen and to spread good vibes. I think I was able to achieve that this past year, and learned to relax and go with the flow as well as spread positivity in as many areas of my life as I could. For this next year I set some more concrete resolutions, and vowed to stop doing things and start doing other more positive actions in the new year.
-Do more yoga
-Drink more water
-Get better at color guard
-Mind my own business
Towards the end of this year I realized I was spending way to much time involving myself in other people's business and offering up my opinion rather than just listening and letting them live. So in this New Year I want to back off a bit, not feel like I need to share everything I think with everyone, and also not feel like I have to know everything all the time. I also want to focus on being present, not over thinking things, and of course be healthier.
I think things are looking up in the new year, and I have high hopes for myself, the world and of course, this wonderful new blog! I'm excited to get started, 2017, I'm ready.
