This Friday the 13th was my 20th and I was sure that something bad was bound to happen. Not only was I no longer a teenager but it was a full moon on Friday the 13th. Much to anyone's surprise, nothing bad to happened to me. I spent the weekend visiting my family in Cleveland and spent way too much money.
This is what twenty is actually about...
Cutting Off 3 Inches of Your Hair.
I felt that my "long" hair looked too young; therefore, I impulsed cut off 3 inches of my hair to look more mature and more like a 20 year old. Plus, a fresh start for your hair to celebrate your big day is beautiful.
Buying Eye Cream to Prevent Wrinkles.
Somewhat as a joke, somewhat serious, I went ahead and bought wrinkle cream. Eye wrinkles are a serious epidemic and I need to take better care of my skin.
Shopping Spree at Target.
I'm getting closer to the age where it's normal to say that Target is your favorite store and can spend hundreds of dollars there without judgment.
Eating Way Too Much Pho.
I LOVE pho and I went in on some pho chay, spring rolls, and boba tea. A soup baby felt appropriate for my 20th birthday.
Drinking a Trenta Pink Drink.
To make along story short, I cannot finish a trenta pink drink but it was an experience that I needed to have to say that I did it.
Listening to One Direction on Repeat.
I can't think of one monumental day of my life where I didn't listen to One Direction, this was a given.
All fun aside, being twenty may be the end of your teenage years but it is the beginning of a new chapter! As cheesy as it may sounds, I'm excited to see what my 20's have in store for me and my future.
With a new chic haircut and my wrinkle cream in hand, I'm ready for my first years of being a real adult.
