It has been a hot minute since I last updated my personal blog and to be very honest that's because I have been struggling with what to write about. After hopping onto our Pinterest blog board (shameless plug for our Pinterest) I got inspired to answer a question.
What place do you consider home?
TO give a little backstory about my life, I was born in Ohio and my family and I moved to Colorado when I was 4 years old. When we moved out to Colorado for my dad's job we left our entire family and only got to see them over summer breaks. Growing up in Colorado gave me countless amazing memories and opportunities but I wouldn't consider it home.
I consider Ohio my home. To simply put it I'm an Ohio girl at heart.
Ohio just has this feeling that Colorado doesn't have. Ohio, with all the humidity and corn, feels like home and like a hug from the Midwest. My home is among the river that caught on fire, the championship winners at the Quicken Loans Arena, and the West Side Market on a sunny summer day.
This post was short, sweet and made me a little homesick. I wish my answer could have been a little more deep and metaphorical. Like "home is where the heart is" or "home is wherever my family is." OOOO or "home isn't a place but a person." My home is where the corn is ;) So, I ask you guys: What place do you consider home?
