Hannah and I started out blogging sometime back in middle school. Well actually, our very, very first internet debut was with a host site called webs. Hannah ran a site with our old friend Chloe about ghost hunting, and I made about 50 different chat sites by myself. Our first professional debut was with two separate sites as well, mine was a beauty blog called Pineappler, and Hannah’s was a fashion blog called Preppy Slice. I quickly dropped mine because I realized I knew nothing about beauty and only brushed my hair once a week, and instead devoted my time blogging to a book review site that had many names, but most of the time it was called The Book Princess. Around the time I launched my book blog Hannah upped her blogging game, redid her sites layout and renamed Preppy Slice, Pronto Fashion. By far the most difficult part of the process was choosing a name for the new site. We stuck with our blogs for about a year, I took multiple hiatuses and vowed to return someday, and eventually Hannah completely deleted her fashion blog. For me, killing my blog and going away from blogging forever was a far more difficult process, and I kept on blogging only to leave at random points, vowing to return. Eventually, The Book Princess was also deleted.
But hope was not lost for our lives as bloggers. Despite our troubled past with blogging we both really loved to do it and were interested in the world of blogging. So one day, kind of on a whim, we decided to run a blog together. Since deleting my blog for the final time I had really wanted to start up a lifestyle blog where I could post anything I wanted, and Hannah was searching for a new creative outlet. So we combined our powers, and our love for blogging, and thought up the site that now sits before you.
For me blogging has always been a really cool side project to spend my free time productively. It doesn’t matter how many views we get or followers we have, blogging is a pure and awesome creative outlet where we can be free to share our lives with the world. Little Egg and Carrot is a one stop place for all the different aspects of our lives. It is three blogs rolled into one, presented here to you today. Its been a long, and very interesting path both Hannah and I have taken as bloggers, and its all culminated in the most epic and amazing blog so far. The future is bright indeed.
