Coming home for the holiday season has become something extra meaningful to me since moving across the country for college. While winter break is about celebrating the holiday season it also means having a couple of weeks to spend as much time with my family and friends as possible.
Besides the obvious, I wanted to create a winter checklist to make sure that you'll have the perfect season!
I wanted to avoid making this post too cheesy, but I can tell that it's about to get real cheesy real quick.
Moving away from home for college was a really big decision for me to make. As much as I love my school and the campus, I wasn't sure that I was ready to move across the the country from my family. I have always been a really big family person and I consider myself to be super close to my family. It's always around finals week that the holidays blues truly get to me and I start to get antsy to be home for the holidays.
Tomorrow is my flight back home to Colorado and I cannot wait to spend my winter break with the people that I love most in the entire world.
Happy holidays from our blog family to yours!
